SQL*LIMS Professional Services European Support Team
Our European Professional Services team provides three levels of support services: project management, solutions architecture, and technical service and support (TSS). Project Management guides you through the intricacies of successful implementation. TSS provides help desk support, upgrades, installations, and training. Solutions Architecture focuses on systems implementations. Training is provided in several languages including German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and English. Meet three of our experienced SQL*LIMS European Professional Services team members.
Antonio Cuevas
Antonio Cuevas, Team Leader Technical Service & Support, SQL*LIMS Professional Services, Europe
Employed by Applied Biosystems for more than 12 years, Antonio has been training SQL*LIMS users and implementing the software at customers for more than nine years as a Solutions Architect, a Team Leader for the Spanish team, and now as the TSS Team Leader for Europe. Based in Barcelona, Antonio speaks English, Spanish and Catalan. Particularly adept with SQL*QA, Antonio enjoys interacting with customers during training and consultancy sessions, resolving individual challenges, and helping customers navigate from LIMS theory to application in the lab. As a manager, he enjoys motivating the Professional Services team and helping them realize their potential as trainers. Previously, Antonio worked in factory automation at Mitsubishi, in Siemens, and for Spanish pharmaceutical manufacturer Laboratorios Grifols. He received a BS in Informatics Engineering from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
Luca Sonagere
Luca Sonagere, Luca Sonagere, Senior Specialist Support, SQL*LIMS Professional Services, Europe
Applied Biosystems snapped up Luca fresh out of university. He has been a SQL*LIMS trainer and specialist now for more than seven years and is involved in all aspects of Help Desk support as well as SQL*LIMS installation, consulting and training. Located in Monza, Italy, Luca is relied upon heavily by our Italian customers for assistance with tasks such as product customization, enhanced functionality, bug fixes, etc. Luca particularly enjoys one-on-one, face-to-face interaction with SQL*LIMS users during training. He is fluent in Italian and English. Luca has a PhD in Scienze dell'informazione (Computer Science) from the Università Statale Milano.
Marcel M Heijblom
Marcel M Heijblom, Specialist Support, SQL*LIMS Professional Services, Europe
The friendly voice answering your Help Desk questions is most often Marcel, since that is one of his primary responsibilities. Based in Holland, he also performs SQL*LIMS installations and migrations as well as the subsequent user training. In addition, he works closely with customers who opt for Service Level Agreements (SLA), providing application management expertise. With almost a decade at Applied Biosystems -- and most of those as a trainer -- Marcel is well versed on the SQL*LIMS product suite and particularly likes exploring new technologies such as Oracle 10g. He enjoys the challenges that result from teaching customers about SQL*LIMS, noting that no new user is the same, nor are the customer sites. Marcel received a degree in Higher Laboratory Education in Laboratory Information & Automation (HLO-LIA) in 1997 and immediately went to work for Applied Biosystems.
