These modules integrate seamlessly with SQL*LIMS to provide universal solutions with best practices built in.

What is the Barcode Printer application module and how does it make label creation easier and faster?
The Barcode Printer module streamlines barcode printing and makes it easy to design, modify, and print labels within SQL*LIMS without the need of programming. This module features automated event triggered and 2D-barcode printing. The module is compatible with any printer that accepts text string printer languages such as ZPL, IPL, etc, which enables the printer to print the desired label. The Barcode Printer module allows for simple label definition and access to database fields, and it can contain data from any of the tables and combine it with SQL*LIMS identification information such as sample ID, submission ID, etc. And the module adds an important capability—adhoc label printing.
How does the Template Automation Application Module make implementation three times faster and reduce your costs by 50%?
We have developed a Template Automation tool that makes it easy for the system administrator to define template objects (such as product specifications, methods, sample plans) using a spreadsheet approach during a LIMS implementation. This task has typically been very tedious and time consuming, requiring all the associated data, parameters, and specifications for that object to be developed and entered manually. Using this module’s spreadsheet approach, the task is now much easier. Simply enter or import the data into the Template Automation spreadsheet, check and validate it, and load the Oracle data tables into SQL*LIMS. The Template Module does error checking when it loads the data to ensure a higher level of integrity. And it’s faster—loading takes seconds instead of weeks or months. Because of the streamlined process and automated load, it takes one third of the time, and you can realize a 50% reduction in cost. And, it documents your LIMS metadata for you.
What is the Multi-Level Testing module?
The multi-level testing module is a SQL*LIMS application designed to provide a user configurable tool to create multi-level testing based on user defined criteria and automatically perform summary calculations based on sample test results. It conforms to current USP guidelines and is designed to automate testing for dissolution, content uniformity, disintegration, or other analysis methods requiring decision based “next-level” testing. The application will handle single or multiple analyte methods. The benefits to using the MLT module include consistency in decision-based testing, time savings through the use of automated decisionmaking tools, and high quality data integrity.
