Template Automation Loader v3 is Here!
The Template Automation Loader application module is a new tool for automating the creation of template objects. What was once a time-consuming task is now made faster and easier. The specially designed Microsoft® Excel worksheet is used to develop and load templates during SQL*LIMS implementation. Not only does the Template Automation tool provide an efficient way to load and validate objects, such as sample plans and methods, it also self-documents LIMS metadata. The tool reads and loads the worksheets into the SQL*LIMS database in minutes rather than days, cutting development time in half, and enables other sites to access and maintain uniformity of the templates from a single server.
What’s New in Template Automation Loader v3
- Improved data import/export - Data may be imported from other databases into the Excel worksheet, as well as export the data from the template worksheets into SQL*LIMS.
- Better security, better performance - The Excel spreadsheet eliminates macros, providing more security from viruses and portability of spreadsheets across the organization.
