Automate more of the Manufacturing QA/QC Lab

Based on customer feedback, we are pleased to release three new software modules to make your job easier, and LIMS operations more cost and time efficient. SQL*LIMS has introduced a new series of software modules that reduce the time required for SQL*LIMS implementation, data loading, and other tasks that previously required manual entry or programming. Now you can:

  • Use our new template automation tool to facilitate static data loading and template maintenance.

Streamline your ability to create automated multi-level testing procedures

You no longer need custom programming or configuration to automate processes that are required for next-level testing. The SQL*LIMS Multi-Level Testing module (MLT) provides ‘next level’ testing based on your criteria. It automates multi-method testing for dissolution, content uniformity, disintegration, and other multi-level analysis methods. No programming is required. The Multi-Level Testing module provides an easy-to-use interface, follows USP guidelines, and removes the burden from the user of updating and supporting programs to accommodate changes in USP methodology.

Full support for barcoding

Creating and printing barcode labels using SQL*LIMS is now highly streamlined with the Barcode module. This easy-to-use SQL*LIMS application eliminates the previous need for programming dedicated printer drivers and knowledge of complex report writing. This module features automated ‘event’ printing and 2D barcode support.. The module is compatible with any printer that accepts text string printer languages such as ZPL, IPL, etc.. The Barcode Printer module allows for simple label definition and access to database fields, and it can contain data from any SQL*LIMS tables and combine it with SQL*LIMS identification information such as sample ID, submission ID, etc. And the module adds an important capability—adhoc label printing to any SQL*LIMS form.

Use the Template Automation Tool to automatically load static data template

You can save time and money during implementation with SQL*LIMS Template Automation v4 module. Entering, validating, documenting and managing templates associated with analysis methods, sampling plans, and product specifications is commonly a costly, tedious and manual process. With the Template Automation module, you can easily and quickly create, import, export, and maintain template objects in SQL*LIMS tables. Best practices are built in. Simply enter or import the data into the Template Automation spreadsheet, check and validate it, and load the data tables into SQL*LIMS. The Template Module provides error checking withdata loading to ensure a higher level of integrity. And it’s faster—loading takes seconds instead of weeks or months. Because of the streamlined process and automated load, it takes one third of the time, you can realize a 50% reduction in cost, and it documents your LIMS metadata for you.
